The Shibata pays homage to a sleepy town in Niigata Prefecture, Japan where miles of swaying grains are met with a distant mountain range on one side, and
a harsh, typhoon-impacted coastline on the other.
It features a bit more room than the Bandon, accommodates a mounted pro body, or prosumer cameras with spare lens or two.
